Deltawelle
The newly created retro sound of Deltawelle puts the listeners of this band in a timeless sphere, finds the right words and sounds to describe and set the tension of the constant contradictions – including political ones. When singer Franz Schneeweiß grabs the microphone, he is guaranteed the attention of his listeners. His voice sounds bright, clear and feather-light, although he calls for a protest from the stage. There are issues that are truly important to him.
The four musicians of Deltawelle understand themselves consistently as an indie music band: they provide their audience with catchy melodies and poetic lyrics in German, but also insert broken rhythms and a new wave attitude.
For one year Deltawelle have been playing successfully in the many clubs in their hometown Berlin. "It has been a surprisingly good year for us since we have only been existing for a year, giving interviews, playing a lot and working on new songs almost every day."
