Das Moped belongs to the rare genre of German-speaking bands, which take on the biggest theme of pop music, without drowning in set phrases or in self-pity. On the contrary: Their song Alle wollen Liebe (Everybody wants love) is a weird, danceable hit, for example, which sounds like some NDW survivors, Echt and Wanda, have met to jam, while Geist sounds like Death Cab For Cutie in German.
