Dampfmaschine

Dampfmaschine is a Osnabrück Noiserock band that was founded in 1999 but until 2008 they played by the name Good Witch of the South. After two English-language long players and over 300 shows as Good Witch of the South, the troupe of singer Siggy Rock returned to German lyrics and the original band name Dampfmaschine and recorded their debut album I Love My Body in a single studio-live-to-do with Claus Grabke (Thumb) in Gütersloh. This is followed by the signing of the contract with the Hamburg-based label Bitzcore and countless shows, including The Doctors, Smoke Blow, Reagan Youth and Adolescents. The next album Bete zur Maschine was released in 2011 on Redfield Records, also the successor Ballerburg 2014. Previously, however, guitarist Fitten died of a pulmonary embolism. After this time it became a bit quieter around the Osnabrücker, since 2019 they are now active again.
