Damniam
You do not see it in their faces, but Damniam has been around for ten years now. Just in time for the anniversary there is the third album Planet Piss. The record made in the Hamburg Hertzwerk studio by Olman Wiebe (including Captain Planet, Smile and Burn, ZSK) explores the band's sound spectrum even further: the punk rock numbers are more mangy, the earwigs more catchy, the quiet songs goosebumps, without losing the trademark. Losing the band's sound. The more varied songs have been extensively tested live, most recently as support for Teenage Bottlerocket, Satanic Surfers and the Buzzcocks. After the last album of the Munsteraner was mostly in a good mood regarding the lyrics, Planet Piss addresses a society between digital self-portrayal, neo-liberal performance pressure and political shift to the right.
