Young artists from the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, three excellent soloists and a hit repertoire – this is how the end of May will look at the National Music Forum. The program of this evening will not miss the Polish accent – it will be a double concert for violin and viola by Krzysztof Penderecki. With only five years of composition, it is extremely attractive for both soloists and listeners who are curious about the new sounds. The work was commissioned by the Vienna Musikverein on the occasion of its 200th anniversary. The composer dedicates it to the outstanding violinist and altololith, Julian Rachlin.
