Their career began with the EP I., which featured the song Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby, which went on to become a big hit for Cigarettes After Sex. While they may have opted for the standard multi-week studio route, they recorded their eponymous debut album (2017) in just three days in a rehearsal room in Brooklyn, and their second Cry (2019) was created in one week in sunny Mallorca.
