Chromatics
Chromatics had been originally a punk group, but after the arrival of producer Johnny Jewel in the middle of the zero decade moved towards existential new wave electronics. At their great album Night Drive from the year 2007, the quartet summarized the philosophy Jewel's label Italians Do It Better, which benefited from discovering forgotten underground dance music of the 80s.
Several of the band's songs have been featured in television series such as Gossip Girl, Bates Motel, Mr. Robot, Riverdale, 13 Reasons Why, and Twin Peaks. Their single *Tick of the Clock"*was featured in the film Drive.
The band have released four studio albums so far.
