Boris Carloff is a Czech producer, composer and sound engineer, whose style is difficult to characterize. It is able to move between jazz, rock and electronica. Boris has classical training on the violin, with them went through almost the whole of Europe, such as Germany, Great Britain and Norway. He made his debut on the London label Tracktion in 2003. He later signed to the label and released Salamanda Red EP Good Stuff. It was very well received and played around the world. For example, in the famous radio show Gilles Peterson Worldwide on BBC 2 was even played the song First Joy. The next track was licensed in Japan and was released on Nuro Japan.
More of his project in cooperation with musicians from the UK named Knot Photogenic. In the Czech Republic Boris Carloff nominated for the album's sound Dreamer Sunshine Group in 2007 to Angel. The next year, 2008, it produced the song Assassination Kryštof won song of the year in the prices of Angel. The same song became the most played song on radio in the CR. That same year the group was awarded the Christopher Group of the Year and Album of Ivan's Voice, on which Boris participated, was nominated in the category of Folk and Country. In 2009, the album was the group Charlie stright on which Boris worked awarded three Angels. 3 albums, which produced for the group Kitts and EMI, has become one of the best selling albums in the Czech Republic - was awarded a platinum or gold plate.
Boris consists in film, theater and music. We give 10-part series "Why should not drowning", a mix of music for the movie "For me, a good" Jan Hrebejk. Or music for several television productions and countless radio plays and audiobooks.
