The Black Drums Icon team reaches to various roots deriving especially from cultures where music is integrated into life, ritual, understanding of the world. The repertoire is a peculiar jigsaw of influences of African music, close to eastern and Slavic, but not without the admixture of "modernity" in which five musicians came to live.
