Berlin Food Week 2022

This year's Berlin Food Week will take place from October 10 to 16, 2022 at various locations in Berlin, offering culinary diversity from Germany and Austria, this year's country partner.

The Berlin Food Week is the largest food festival in Germany and offers culinary diversity over several days with the ninth edition. Austria shows itself as country partner from a fresh and unusual side and lets discover the diversity of the nine federal states on the large joint stand in the House of Food.

The city menu, which serves climate-friendly menus, has the motto "Gone with the bark – New meat (Vom Rinde verweht – Neues Fleisch)" this year, and restaurants from Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart can take part. For one week, the participating restaurants will be serving menus based on the theme of alternative protein sources and meat substitutes – also known as New Meat.

On October 14 and 15, the House of Food will be held at the Bikini Berlin concept shopping mall, where key trends and the best artisanal products can be discovered, tasted or purchased directly. Admission on these days is free.

Once again this year, there will be the opportunity to take part in workshops at the Miele Cooking School. While there are mini-workshops and Kitchenhacks on the weekend, the workshops during the week offer more in-depth study of the individual topics.
