Basstion
Basstion was founded in 1988 in Poznań based on the musicians of the dissolved group Gedeon Jerubbaal, founded by Ryszard Sarbak. Musically, the formation referred to the style of Gideon (heavy roots reggae), in the textual layer you can find numerous references to the roots of faith and sharp criticism of the existing reality. The most active period of the formation's activity is 1989-1994. At that time, the group played over 100 concerts and performed at all major reggae parties in the country. In the years 1995-2001, the group suspended their activity, playing only occasional concerts for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. In 2002, the musicians decided to return to the stage and began performing at clubs and at some major events, such as the Reggae festival in Piaski in Ostrów Wielkopolski. A year later, released by Winter Records, the debut album of Lwy ognia was released.
