Bantamba
Bantamba is the musical creation of Buba Badjie Kuyateh, stemming from a long line of masters of Gambian music. The group was inspired by a fusion of the ancient and the modern; combining the traditional 21-string harp from West Africa with the contemporary, eclectic sounds of the streets of Warsaw. Combining their African roots and revered traditional music with the stylings of Latin, jazz and rock artists, Bantamba offers a new sound that is both original, funky and modern, charming and musically complex.
