Axel Martres

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1994, Axel showed exceptional musical talent from an early age. He received his early training from his pianist grandmother and went on to study at the Buenos Aires Conservatory, where he received his first artistic diploma. Recognised for his talent, he was offered scholarships to prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music and the Boston Conservatory in the United States. Axel graduated with honours from the Boston Conservatory and was the first piano student to perform two recitals - one as a soloist and the other with the university's Philharmonic Orchestra.

With his international acclaim, Axel has chosen to make Berlin his home, where he holds an artist's visa to pursue various musical projects. He continues to refine his piano technique by working with professors and pianists at the Universität der Künste and is currently studying under the tutelage of concert pianist Yossi Reshef. In addition to his own development, Axel shares his passion for the piano by teaching two piano courses at local music schools in Berlin.
