Artur Banaszkiewicz
Violinist, composer, arranger. He has been performing since the age of five. In 1985 he won first prize at the Competition of Young Violinists in Koszalin. From 1988 to 1990, as a scholarship recipient of the Ministry of Culture and Art, he studied at the P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. In addition to the classical violin repertoire, Artur Banaszkiewicz often presents the audience with his own virtuosic fantasies and paraphrases of well-known works from different areas of music (such as: Viva Strauss!, La fiesta mexicana, Fiddler on the Roof, Hava nagila, Black Eyes, Kalinka).
