Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk

Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk is a Polish composer, pianist and choir conductor born on 10 May 1987 in Wejherowo. She graduated from the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk in the piano class of Professor Grażyna Fiedoruk-Sienkiewicz and in the choral conducting class of Aleksandra Grucza-Rogalska. She is a laureate of choral and compositional competitions and festivals, including 3rd place at the 5th International Festival Transatlantyk Instant Competition, Young Music Award at the International Mundus Cantat Festival in Sopot, 1st place at the National Composers' Competition for Choral Song Passion to Text in Kashubian Language and 2nd place at the Adam Didur National Composers' Competition in Sanok. Her works were performed during such festivals and choral competitions as the S. Arminski International Festival in Rumia, the National Festival of Contemporary Music Music Music Everywhere and the New Waves Festival of Contemporary Music in Gdańsk. She has participated in many master classes with the Moscow Trio, Vytautas Miškinis and Philip Lawson, among others. She co-founded and is also a member of the Art'n'Voices Vocal Ensemble, with which she recorded an album with her own music Droga Krzyżowa. With Christ at Kalwaria Wejherowska. As a pianist, she specializes in chamber music, cooperates with artists from the Tricity music and theatre scenes, composes and arranges music for performances (e.g. Moralność Pani Dulskiej; Ząb-zupa-dąb, Matka, Oporść Wigilijna). On a daily basis she works as a piano teacher and accompanist at the ZSM in Gdańsk and at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. Within the framework of music and rehabilitation classes as an accompanist she cooperates with the Association of People with Intellectual Disabilities in Gdańsk. She is president of the Association of Young Artists of Wejherowo Land and vice-president of the Art Development Centre Foundation.
