Andrzej Zieliński
Andrzej Zielinski is a Polish singer, pianist, composer and arranger. Founder of the band Skaldowie. Older brother of Jacek Zieliński. In the years 1965-1982 he was a leader of the band Skaldowie. He wrote over 260 songs, mainly for Skaldowie, but also for Maryla Rodowicz, Łucja Prus, Irena Jarocka, Halina Kunicka, Stan Borys and Andrzej Dąbrowski. He wrote songs mainly to the texts of Polish poets, including Leszek Aleksander Moczulski, Agnieszka Osiecka, Andrzej Jastrzębiec-Kozłowski, Ewa Lipska, Tadeusz Śliwiak and Wojciech Młynarski. He has also recorded several suites of music with the Skalds: Krywaniu, Krywaniu (1972), Stworzenia świata część druga (1974), Podróż magiczna (1978), Zimowa bajka (1974), Sobótka (1983). He takes part in the band's major concerts. He is a multiple laureate of the Opole Festival.
