Alogte Ohois part of the dynamic Frafra gospel scene in northern Ghana. He is accompanied by the “Sounds of Joy” a powerful female choir consisting of Lizzy Amaliyenga, Patricia Adongo and Florence Adooni – all fantastic gospel singers.
Born to a Frafra father and an Akim mother, Alogte Oho grew up in the green south of Ghana before moving as a boy to the Frafra land, the savannah of northern Ghana. At the age of thirteen, he joined the church choir, whose energy and spirituality made a deep impression on him as a child, and gained his first experience of professional studio recording.
