Alex Puddu
Alex Puddu is a Copenhagen-based artist, musician, composer, producer and DJ, hailing from Rome. He has been living in Denmark since 1987, beginning his music career at the age of fifteen as a drummer.
His special passion are Italian vintage sounds, giallo horror movie soundtracks, jazz, psychedelic and percussive music.
In 2004, Alex Puddu signed with the Danish April Records imprint and released his first cinematic jazz album. In the following years, he released further albums together with his band the Butterfly Collectors.
In 2010, Alex produced his first solo album Hell is Other People, a soundtrack for a Danish short film about a young man suffering from schizophrenia.
He has also founded the project The Moonfires, collaborates with artists such as Edda dell'Orso, Joe Bataan and many others.
