Agata Zubel is a Polish composer and singer. She has premiered and recorded numerous works by contemporary composers. She has won several competitions – for example: Medal of The Witold Lutosławski Society (2017), Coryphaeus of Polish Music in the category Personality of the Year (2016), Polish Composers' Union Award (2014), Wroclaw Music Award (2005), 1st Prize and a Special Polish Radio Award in the National Adam Didur Competition for Composers (2000) etc.
