Adam Eljasiński
Clarinetist, Doctor of Musical Arts. He completed his doctoral studies in the clarinet class of Professor Mieczyslaw Stachura at the Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw. He graduated from the Ostrava University in Ostrava in the class of Prof. Valtra Vitek and from Conservatories in Nice and Paris in the class of Prof. Michel Lethiec and Florent Heau. Winner of the Diplome d'Etudes Musicales and the Premier Prix de Conservatoire de Nice in solo and chamber music, as well as the Prix de Virtuosite al'unanimite. He performs in Poland and abroad, among others in Austria, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Czech Republic, Portugal, Slovenia, France, Monaco, Romania and China. He has participated in many international and national festivals, among which are: Nice International Music Festival C'est pas classique; PrintempsdesArts Festival in Monte-Carlo; Pablo Casals Academie de Musique Chamber Music Festival in Prades, France; CLARINETFEST International Clarinet Congress; Musica Electronica Nova in Wrocław; Poznań Spring Festival; Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw. He is a laureate of more than thirty regional, national and international competitions, e.g. in Poland, France, Portugal, Austria. In recognition of his artistic achievements, he has been awarded many artistic scholarships in Poland and abroad, e.g. Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship, Conservatoire National de Region in Nice Scholarship, Minister of Culture Scholarship, Lower Silesian Province Marshal's Scholarship, Mayor of Wrocław Scholarship.
In duo with violist Aleksandra Demowska-Madejska, he promotes the works of Polish composers and strives to broaden the musical literature for this unique instrumental ensemble, performing chamber concerts by Polish composers dedicated to the ensemble (Weronika Ratusińska, Dawid Pajdzik, Wojciech Błażejczyk), accompanied by many excellent orchestras. He is a member of the Olympus Mons trio, with which he performs in Poland and abroad, as well as #ENSEMBLE: a collective specialising in new music performance, with which he has performed at the most important festivals in the country. He popularizes the works of Polish and foreign composers such as Wojciech Błażejczyk, Dariusz Przybylski, Ignacy Zalewski, Louis Andriessen, Peter Maxwell Davies, Thierry de Mey, Luciano Berio.
As an orchestral musician, he has collaborated with the Wrocław Youth Orchestra, Capitol Musical Theatre, Gorzów Philharmonic, and the Sinfonietta Cracovia Orchestra. He was a member of the Orchestre de Jeunes de Mediteranee youth orchestra, the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra and the Warsaw Chamber Opera. He has performed under the baton of many distinguished conductors, including Charles Dutoit, Kristjan Jaarvi, Francois Xavier Roth, Daniel Russel Davies, Rafael Payare, Jesús López Cobos, Maximiliano Valdes, Gabriel Chmura, Michał Dworzyński, Marek Pijarowski, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Krzysztof Penderecki, José Maria Florencio, and Michał Nesterowicz. Currently he is a solo clarinetist with the Polish Royal Opera and the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw.
