An evening eagerly anticipated by all lovers of Mozart’s music is the concert of the legendary chamber orchestra, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, which has established its lasting fame over the decades on its highly stylish interpretations of the music of the Salzburg master. In one of Mozart’s most popular works, the Clarinet Concerto in A Major, the orchestra will be joined by the curator of this year’s chamber music series, Sharon Kam, who can be regarded as one of today’s ideal interpreters of the work. Thanks to its reputation, the famed London orchestra was invited by the Czech director Miloš Forman to collaborate on the Oscar-winning film Amadeus.
