A Tale Of Golden Keys
In February 2018, the second album of the Nuremberg band A Tale of Golden Keys appeared on Listenrecords. Shrimp is a pop album with just the right amount of edginess, which clearly continues the line of the band's debut: To contrast the prevailing melancholy and the complex songwriting A Tale of Golden Keys again used a deliberately withdrawn production and decided against prevailing bombast so often used in contemporary pop music. The resulting lightness reflects the band's love for performing live, which has not yet changed.
Most recently, Hannes Neunhoeffer (vocals, guitar, piano), Florian Dziajlo (bass) and Jonas Hauselt (drums) found inspiration on various tours. From big festival stages to intimate living room moments, they have performed in many different settings in recent years. But the trio has not lost sight of the essentials despite several million streams of their first album Everything Went Down as Planned (2015) on Spotify.
