ZK/U
The Center For Art and Urbanism, short ZK/U, is located in a former railway depot in the district Moabit, a landmark building with an overall footprint of 2000 square meters since 2012. ZK/U was founded by the artist collective Kunstrepublik to create a connection between artistic practice, city research and daily life in the city. About 13 rotating international artists and city researchers live and work at the premises.
ZK/U deals with numerous social and cultural projects with urban-social challenges and invites to events such as markets, food cinema or open house that reinterpret popular formats like flea markets, cinema, workshops and exhibitions on a regular base.
