Russian producer and DJ Aleks Unbalance stays true to the motor city roots of techno, combining live emotions and technical precision. He debuted in 2008, working on his own, unique style for a few years. His music creates a distinct symbiosis of strong emotions and industrial themes, eclectically conjoined with technical accuracy and storytelling.
In a series of records released through his own imprint with the same name, Unbalance was able to realize his own ideas without any boundaries, creating a fresh sound with burst into the scene and brought him bookings at Berghain and Tresor.
Today, Unbalance receives support of many key figures of the scene and has collaborated with numerous artists. His discography includes vinyl releases on labels such as Arts, Pole Group, Rawax, Solid Groove and many others, besides contributing to the legendary Fabric series with a track specially recorded for Steffi, who compiled the album.
In his performances, Unbalance combines all ages of techno, paying tribute to classic techno, taking up inspirations from futuristic sounds and mixing in a modern style of techno, creating a unique atmosphere on the dance floor with every set.
