O Tomoki Tamura
Tomoki Tamura started his dance music journey in Japan and has gone a logn way since. A move to London in 2004 inaugurated a series of party nights, Holic, that would eventually lead him to rock the floors of top London venues including Fabric, Ministry of Sound, and Plastic People. He gained enough experience to get a residency at the legendary club The End from 2007 until it closed in 2009.
Holic quickly established itself as a staple of London's nightlife and brought a fresh selection of techno and house DJs to the city. The party even earned a permanent residency at one of Japan's most respected clubs, Womb in Tokyo and Tomoki became a musical ambassador between Tokyo and London through his activities.
After almost a decade after the establishment of Holic the launch of the Holic Trax label followed in 2012.
Tomoki is furthermore one half of the duo project Doublet which he runs with Italian artist Tuccillo. Holic Trax has been the main outlet for their unique take on raw and moody house tracks.
Although Tamura has proven to be a credible producer, label owner and promoter, he sees himself as a DJ first and foremost. Today he lives in Berlin and plays many gigs around the world.
