Prague Brass Ensemble

The origins of the Prague Brass Ensemble date back to 1979, when trombonist Jan Votava and horn player Jiří Lisý founded the Prague Conservatory Brass Quintet during their studies, thus continuing the tradition of their fathers who played in the Prague Brass Quintet.

The Prague Brass Ensemble consists of F. Bílek, A. Kinkal – violin, J. Lisý – French horn, J. Votava – tenor trombone and K. Kučera – bass trombone.
