Magda Magic Piskorczyk

Polish blues singer, multi-instrumentalist. She has been nominated three times for a Fryderyk Award and is a two-time semi-finalist of the International Blues Challenge. She sings with a mature, low voice, plays acoustic, electric and bass guitars, as well as percussion instruments. She performs mainly music rooted in African-American and African traditions. She arranges and composes, performs regularly with her band, and has been a guest at many international festivals, including those in Germany, England, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, France, the US and Taiwan. She has released seven albums, on which you can hear Michal Urbaniak, Memphis harmonica virtuoso Billy Gibson and Slidin' Slim from Sweden, among others.
