Bambounou
In 2013, Jéremy Guindo aka Bambounou, then just 22 years old, entered the club music stage with his debut album Orbiting. On this record, which sounded like the soundtrack for a wild android party on a space station, the science fiction fan from Paris combined influences from bass music genres like footwork and trap with techno.
The Parisian DJ and producer, who has French, Malay and Polish roots, enjoys a great reputation in Paris for his musical experiments, using futuristic interpretations of UK techno, IDM and tribal sounds. His eclecticism also brought him to the attention of Modeselektor, whose 50Weapons released two albums and five EPs by Guindo.
