The New Mill Water Tower
The New Mill Water Tower is a historic water tower located in Prague 1 in the Petrská quarter, about 100 meters from the right bank of the Vltava river, near the southern entrance of the Štefánik Bridge in the place of the former Prague New Mill – from there its name. It is a large waterworks building, which once supplied water from the Vltava river to the lower part of the New Town of Prague. As in other water towers in Prague, the tower was built in the Middle Ages in the Middle Ages, the first mention of it dates from 1484.
