The Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové

The Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové is a museum and historic landmark in Hradec Králové. The museum was built during the years 1909–1913. It was designed by Jan Kotěra, a prominent Czech architect of the early 20th century. Nowadays, the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové is the largest museum within the region. About 2 800 000 objects are included in archaeological, natural scientific and historical collections. Not only permanent collections are presented but also temporary thematic exhibitions or social events are held there.
