Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg
TAK - Theater im Aufbau Haus is a free theater that is situated at Aufbau Haus in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Since the beginning of 2018, it is run by the artist collectives kainkollektiv, suite42, France-Elena Damian and Anna Koch/Moritz Pankok, who realize the idea of a collective and cooperative leading model. Therefore TAK is a pilot project that researches the future of theater forms between municipal theater and free scene. Besides, the focus of the theater also lies on working with international artists and a solidary opening towards the Berlin Free Scene of performative arts and politic work.
theater Aufbau Kreuzberg e.V. is an association of theater creators, theater pedagogues, artists and authors, that creates parts of the theater program at TAK and enriches the repertoire with own productions. Thereby, the aim is always a critical social discourse that includes Kreuzberg, the neighborhood and the other tenants at Aufbau Haus.
The theatre is reachable completely barrier-free.
