In Tin Foil
Frank Büttner, Manuel Harder, Linda Pöppel
Björn SC Deigner paints the portrait of Maria, his protagonist who speaks of her tough childhood and her life as a prostitute. She does that in an almost cool manner, merciless to herself, very precise, completely unsentimental, with a highly laconic wit. Here a female figure takes the floor, describing her life differently than bourgeois conventions allow her. And the fact that the source material of Deigner's text conceals the actual experiences of a real woman saves him from the possible reproach of romanticizing prostitution (from a male perspective).
Note: The production In Stanniolpapier by Sebastian Hartmann contains scenic representations of sexual violence. The performance is therefore not suitable for children under the age of 18.The performance will provide English subtitles.
