Steffen Gruber
Steffen Gruber is a German DJ, producer and live act based in Rottweil. He was born in 1996 in the Black Forest and became known as a resident DJ of the Canape club in Trossingen.
Inspired by artists whose groovy sound and sense of community made his passion grow early on, he quickly decided that listening alone was not enough and started making music himself. Starting with a mixture of groovy tech house and melodic techno, he later developes towards an own raw, hypnotic, yet melodic direction through the influences of artists like Keith Carnal, Sdhw & Obscure Shape, Charlotte de Witte, Jeff Mills and other producers.
In 2016 he played his first gig at the Stuttgart's Zollamt, one of the most famous clubs of the region. At the beginning, he established his reputation as a local constant of the scene. After numerous performances, he presented his melodic dark sound also to a national audience in clubs in bigger cities. Meanwhile, the 21-year-old is signed with the Stuttgart-based Infamous Tracks imprint.
