Staatstheater Cottbus
Cottbus State Theater was opened on 01 October 1908 and is considered a landmark of Cottbus. The building was designed by the architect Bernhard Sering and in the beginning it held only opera events.
Today, concerts as well as theater performances take place in the State Theater. Once a year it turns into a cinema and presents the opening gala of the annual Film Festival Cottbus.
