Spiridon Schischigin
Spiridon Schischigin is a virtuoso on the Jew's Harp, a small musical instrument whose sound generation principle has been widespread in the world for a very long time. A manually excited elastic tongue swings through the open rows of teeth into the mouth of the player and thereby creates it's unmistakable sound. Spiridon Schischigin is also a teacher and principal in his homeland Yakutia, in the Siberian part of Russia. With his Jew's Harp he traveled already far parts of the world, so he played among others in the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, France and Japan.
