Slurm McKenzie
Although he was born in former Czechoslovakia in the mid-80s, Slurm grew up in Southern Germany. Through his early musical education he discovered a deep passion for all kinds of music, reaching from hip-hop through rock and pop to psytrance. As an active member of the psytrance scene, he faced many problems organizing parties in his region, so he decided to move to Berlin at the age of 18 in search of likeminded people but instead, he found his way to techno and house music there.
At first, he supported DJ friends and helped organizing events before he finally bought his own decks. Since 2009, Slurm has been channeling his love for dance music in his sets at Berlin's clubs and has become a member of the Tanzmichmal collective as well as a resident of Golden Gate. Slurm's style is oscillating between techno, house and disco, offering charming surprises.
