Jiang-nan s'-chu "silk and bamboo from the region south of the Long River" is a genre of traditional Chinese instrumental music. The name refers to a genre largely composed ensemble of string and wind instruments - strings, in China, made of silk, flutes and mouth wrinkles in turn, are made of bamboo - and the area around the lower reaches of Long River, between the cities of Suzhou, Yangzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai, where amateur plays an instrumental genre Jiangnan sizhu / Sichuan Jiang-nan-chu.
