Nico and the Navigators

Nico and the Navigators deal with existential puzzles of everyday life and display it in all its absurdity. By doing so, they give us back the courage to laugh about ourselves. Just like in a musical composition, director Nicola Hümpel gave rhythm to structures of movement, sound and language which lead the viewer's attention to the peculiar magic and horror of human beings. Nico and the Navigators discover the world of human interaction beyond linguistic mediation. They manage to preserve their secret, but still to phrase it with humor and irony. In 2004, Nico and the Navigators presented themselves as a theater ensemble with an international cast. The feedback is enormous and proofs the quality of their work.
