Max-Schmeling-Halle

The Max-Schmeling-Halle, Germany's first multifunctional arena, is located in the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. It was built in 1997 as a result of Berlin's application for the 2000 Olympic Games and today offers space for major concerts, sporting events, shows and conventions with up to 11,900 visitors.

The hall has been awarded the Green Globe certificate and strives for sustainable and environmentally friendly operation during handball or volleyball matches as well as concerts and other events.

The offer is rounded off by a wide selection of catering stands and guided tours that allow visitors to take a look behind the scenes.
