Matrix
The Matrix is a club in Berlin-Friedrichshain. The club is known as one of the filming locations of the RTL II series Berlin - Tag & Nacht. The series is filmed there while the club is running. Matrix was founded in 1995 and has been located in ten vaults of the Warschauer Straße underground station in the Friedrichshain district since the fall of 1996. It has a capacity of up to 2,500 visitors and is open seven days a week.
The Matrix became internationally known especially in the field of electronic dance music. For several years, the club provided its own Lovemobile at the Love Parade. Numerous DJs such as Marusha, WestBam, DJ Dick, Underground Resistance, Josh Wink, Lords of the Underground, Lady B, Sven Väth and Paul van Dyk played at the Matrix.
