Online screening of movie “Making A Mountain” and discussion with the directors Rikke Selin Fokdal and Kaspar Astrup Schröder, will be part of the festival “One World 2021”.

Making A Mountain / Rikke Selin Fokdal, Kaspar Astrup Schröder / Denmark 2020 / 52 min / English friendly – The tender for a new, greener incinerator opened up an opportunity for architect Bjarke Ingels. He won over the jury mainly with the novelty of his design: he conceived the whole building as an artificial hill, one that is open to visitors for sporting, social or simply aesthetic experiences. The documentary maps the implementation of the entire project in condensed form. It shows the architect's perspective and the various pitfalls that the ambitious vision have inevitably brought. In time-lapse footage from various stages of the construction, he slowly lets the building itself come to life.
