Having studied graphic design in Prague, Igor Lorok admits he “quickly became disillusioned with the confines of the education he had received”. Instead, in what would prove a career-defining decision, the Siberian-born designer and visual artist chose to pursue alternative routes into the industry. It was actually through the local nightlife scene, masterminding the visual identity of an event series launched with some friends, that Lorok truly found his feet. Boasting commissions for labels like Amsterdam’s Barong Family, not to mention PC Music artist Namasenda.
