Lars Eidinger

Lars Eidinger was born in Berlin in 1976 and has been a member of the ensemble at Berlin's Schaubühne since 1999. Between 1995 and 1999 he studied acting at Berlin's Hochschule für Schauspielkunst. During his studies he was a guest at Deutsches Theater for two years.

Parallel to his career as an actor Eidinger also creates his own music. In 1998 he released the single I'll break ya legg through Berlin-based imprint Stud!o K7, in 1999 he produced the music for a documentary film. He also wrote music for several theater productions by Thomas Ostermeier.

Eidinger can often be found DJing at Berlin_s clubs and organizes the Autistic Disco party series.

He has been working as a film actor since 2005 and played in movies such as Everyone Else (2009) or Code Blue (2011). He has also been starring in German cult TV series such as Tatort.

Eidinger debuted as a director in 2008 at Schaubühne with Friedrich Schiller's piece The Robbers.
