As of October 2011, the global estimate of her recordings sold 23 million albums and 64 million singles, Time Magazine and Forbes in 2010 ranked among the 100 most influential people of the world, or the 100 biggest celebrities (4th place). In addition, Forbes magazine rated it as the seventh most powerful woman of the planet and for 2011 it called the most powerful woman in the planet.
