Konflikt
Punk | Slovak legend Konflikt gets the blood pumping, not only for all the punks who like hymnic choruses, but for fans of straight punk, cut by HC, metal and ska. Though the band is nowhere near a newcomer, they have not made as many albums in their 20 years together as one might expect, mainly because they are so intensively engaged in the art of live performance. Because they play so frequently, their musical performance on stage is absolutely precise. The pride and confidence with which the punk burners are thrown into the people can be compared to the peace of Miloš Zeman after half a liter of slivovitz. They are passionately political, as evidenced, for example, by their song Prečo about the division of Czechoslovakia; a song so sharply critical of Vladimír Mečiar that it was banned from Slovak media.
