TAO Drum Heart

TAO excited already about more than seven million viewers, in 24 countries and 500 cities. In 2019 the Japanese samurai of drumming will return to Europe with their latest show Drum Heart. The show will come to Tempodrom in Berlin on January 27, 2023. The event was originally scheduled for January 19, 2022 and February 15, 2022.

Powerful and yet fragile, original yet modern: the furious rhythms, which increase to a whipping drum thunder, presented with extraordinary precision, power and endurance, have a – in the truest sense of the word – sweeping effect. TAO is more than a breathtaking sound experience, TAO is exuberant liveliness and enormous musicality. A unique performance, a mixture of musical meditation and wild martial arts, crowned by a meticulously coordinated choreography.
