The lever is clear Czech rock band that formed in 1981 around guitarist and songwriter Michael Ambrose and former frontman, painter Vladimir "Dady" Albrecht. The band is influenced by other prominent personalities of the Czech music scene - David Koller (drums), John Ivan Wünsch (bass), Bohumil and Vladimir Zatloukal (guitars). The hallmark of her music became shrill girls' choirs (Zdena Pištěková, Margaret Vojtěchová and later Alena Daňková) built into contrast with male voices, and raw guitar sound.
