Iron Curtis
Johannes Paluka has already traversed numerous spheres of electronic music, crossing musical boundaries with remarkable ease. Under his stage name Iron Curtis, the Berlin artist creates complex productions that combine an eclectic selection of styles and influences. Whether house, acid or soulful techno, his sound is stripped down but never minimalist.
Johannes' debut EP was released on Hamburg imprint Mirau in 2008, followed by a contribution to Deetron's Fuse. Besides his solo releases on house labels like Office, Retreat or Smallville, Paruka is also part of the project Rollercoaster D'Amour alongside his longtime friend Jool aka Edit Piafra.
Another project is Moon and represents a collaboration with Johannes Albert of Frank Music. With Moon, the two show their love for classic electro and reduced techno.
