Funk Delicious
The eleven-piece ensemble, Funk Delicious, consists exclusively of experienced professional musicians who have studied all over the world and came together in Berlin to bring the funk to the people in a new, fresh and spontaneous manner.
When Funk Delicious was founded in 2002, it was all about reviving the music of the great 1970s radio bands Earth, Wind and Fire, Kool & The Gang and Tower of Power. Even today, many tracks of these classics are still in their program. In addition, the band is always looking for new, surprising material, which can be trimmed to their band-typical funky style. In the hands of Funk Delicious, hits of The Beatles, James Brown, The Commodore, Prince, Jamiroquai, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce and Jan Delay, among others, become the brightest funk pearls.
