Five Uncertain Situations is the first collaboration between the Prague Quiet Music Collective (PQMC) and the Prague City Gallery (GHMP). PQMC approached five composers who were inspired by artworks from the GHMP collections, in response to which they wrote new pieces. The exhibition at the Stone Bell House will allow visitors to follow this interaction directly on several levels: the original artworks will be exhibited, as will the new scores and recordings of the pieces. Forms illuminated by sound; time for contemplation in the gallery; stiuational uncertainty; a web of relations stretched across time.

The exhibition opening will take place on December 9th, along with a discussion and concert, the latter presenting all the new pieces as world premieres. The exhibition will be open from December 9th to January 1st.

Exhibiting artists: Pavla Sceranková, Aleksandra Vajd, Marie Kratochvílová, Stanislav Kolíbal, Radoslav Kratina
